Isla Holbox: An Undiscovered Fly Fishing Gem
I’m writing this post sitting in some lounge furniture in the early morning light at the Isla Holbox Fly Fishing Lodge on the Gulf of Mexico. When I was originally planning my trip down to Mexico I was set on heading south out of Cancun to the legendary Bonefish and Permit waters of Ascencion Bay but had a change of plans at the last minute when I was asked to go to a little Island to the north called Isla Holbox to shoot some photos. I had little chance to research the place before I left and just hoped for the best. What I discovered is one of the true gems of saltwater fly fishing.
Learn the fly fishing secrets that will take your game to a whole new level!
