British Columbia, Canada
Five hours north of Vancouver the road ends at the southern tip of Desolation Sound, a marine park loaded with hidden bays and lagoons. The majority of the park can only be reached by boat or kayak, limiting the fishing pressure considerably. The bays and lagoons hold Salmon, Doly Varden, Rockfish, and Lingcod. A short hike from the ocean can put you at some outstanding lakes teaming with eager trout.
